Choosing the right ute for the job can sometimes be a line ball call. In our opinion, in the lat 5 years or so, they come together so closely that they are all pretty bloody good, and the manufacturers have got it together in what a hard working ute should be. For many of us it just come down to what we like, a bit like Holden v Ford, it’s now like that with tradie utes.
I drive a Triton, and not a new one. I have a 2013 3.0 L turbo diesel, the one they don’t make any more, and it’s great. Grunty and tough, not something you think of with a Triton, but hey, things change.
